Biography

Ivan joined Pérez-Llorca in 1999 and was made partner in January 2007. Ivan is the resident partner at Pérez-Llorca's New York office. In addition, he is responsible for the firm's US Desk and LatAm Desk. In 2002, Ivan completed a secondment at the London office of Slaughter and May. Ivan specialises in M&A, private equity and corporate and commercial matters in general. He advises national and international clients on prominent cross-border transactions in various sectors. Regarding private equity, he has advised on the acquisition of minority stakes, majority stakes and leveraged acquisitions in secondary buyouts and privatization. Ivan has extensive teaching experience. He was a professor of Corporate Law at Universidad Carlos III in Madrid, at the ICAM and at the Master’s degree in Law at the Instituto de Empresa (IE) in Madrid.
