Biography
Chantal Pernille Patel is a partner at Danish law firm Gorrissen Federspiel’s practice group for ‘Capital Markets, Corporate and M&A’.
Chantal advises on a broad range of corporate law and capital market matters in particular in connection with capital market transactions and securities regulation as well as M&A.
Chantal has advised a wide spectrum of corporate clients as well as private equity funds, other institutional investors and the managers in the majority of the IPOs in Denmark in the last decade as well as a number of other public and directed offerings of equity, corporate reorganisations, M&A, structured sales processes and public tender offers for listed companies.
Chantal also has extensive experience in advising clients on general corporate law matters as well as Danish listed companies on Danish securities law aspects and corporate governance matters.
Chantal was admitted to the Danish bar in 2012, has a Master of Laws degree from the University of Copenhagen and attended New York University School of Law’s exchange student programme in 2005. In 2014/2015 Chantal spent a year as a foreign associate in Davis Polk & Wardwell’s capital markets practice in New York City. Before joining Gorrissen Federspiel in 2009 she worked as a management consultant for McKinsey & Company.
