Lorenzo Maria Di Vecchio
Biography
Lorenzo Maria Di Vecchio is the Global Compliance Manager and Member of the Supervisory Board of FENDI – the Italian Maison part of LVMH Group – headquartered in Rome, Italy. He joined FENDI in June 2014, after having held Legal Counsel roles with Colgate-Palmolive, Hill’s Pet Nutrition and Heineken. After beginning his career as lawyer in private practice (Spadafora De Rosa Law Firm, now merged with Tonucci & Partners Law Firm), in 2010 Mr. Di Vecchio joined Heineken Italy Legal Department. Three years later he moved to Colgate-Palmolive and Hill’s as Legal Responsible for Southern Europe. During his experience in Colgate, he hold the roles as Brand Protection, Antitrust and Ethic and Compliance Responsible for Southern Europe. Lorenzo earned his law degree from the University of Rome, DzRoma Tredz, Italy. He is a member of the Bar in Italy since 2007. After the Law Degree, he attended 2 Law Schools in civil and commercial law and a Master’s degree in International Contract Negotiation and Drafting (from Il Sole 24 Ore Business School). Lorenzo is Lecturer at II Level Master in food Law at The Tuscia & Campus Biomedico Rome Universities, as well as at numerous legal roundtables in Italy and abroad. He has worked extensively in matters involving international trade, industrial law, competition law, intellectual property, labeling law, compliance.
