Description
Procedural errors can be costly and delay the deal timetable needlessly. Agencies have been quick to impose fines (and in some cases worse) when the rules are broken. Our panel – drawn from authority, business and private practice – will discuss key developments in the case law and share their tips on how to avoid procedural pitfalls. Topics for discussion include how to spot transactions and other corporate acts which may trigger a filing requirement; how to interpret ‘transaction value’ thresholds; responding to agency information requests in a short timeframe and the boundary between planning and gun jumping.
