The panel will analyse some of the proposed amendments to the Brazilian Bankruptcy Law. Topics to be discussed will include: distressed M&A; the sale of assets during bankruptcy proceedings; debtor-in-possession financing and the ‘new money’ priority; restructuring groups of companies and substantive consolidation; cross-border insolvency rules; and mediation.
