Biography

Tim is Head of Travers Smith's Financial Services & Markets Department. He specialises in financial services law and regulation and acts for a wide variety of retail and wholesale financial services institutions. His clients include alternative asset managers, traditional asset managers, trading venues, payment systems operators, payment institutions, banks, brokers, and investors. Tim is Chair of the British Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (BVCA) Regulatory Committee and is a member of the European Private Equity and Venture Capital Association's Financial Services/Regulatory Working Group.
