Christian Cascante
Biography
Christian (Cascante) advises national and international companies in large M&A-transactions. He has particular experience in public takeovers, private equity and cross-border transactions. Christian is at Gleiss Lutz since more than 25 years. He has worked for law firms in London, New York and Palo Alto. He has been the Head of M&A and Private Equity of Gleiss Lutz for many years and was the chairman of the partnership council (Senior Partner) of the firm from 2020 to 2023. Christian has been named as one of the leading M&A partners in Germany and has been recognized for his work by publications like JUVE, Chambers, IFLR 1000, The International Who’s Who of M&A Lawyers, The International Who’s Who of Corporate Governance Lawyers, Best Lawyers, Guide to the world’s leading M&A Lawyers, Guide to the world’s leading Private Equity Lawyers, etc. Christian studied law in Grenoble, Tübingen and at the University of Chicago Law School (LL.M. 1998) and business administration at the University of Hagen (bachelor).
