Biography
Elena Ryolo is a partner at CRCCD (Cappelli Riolo Calderaro Crisostomo Del Din & Partners) in Italy and has +25 years of experience in employment law in a variety of contexts which range from complex industrial organizations to innovative and agile start-ups. Her key expertise includes reorganization and restructuring processes, where she assists in complex labour and industrial relations. Elena regularly deals with the employment and corporate steps aimed at the appointment of, and separation from, senior executives. She also advises in the set-up of retention and incentive mechanisms, as well as in the definition of non-compete, non-solicitation and confidentiality covenants, especially in situations which are highly sensitive on the protection of corporate know-how. Since 2020 Elena has been mentioned as a Leading Individual by The Legal 500 where she is described as a “technically very prepared lawyer with great understanding of the psychological and motivational aspects of labour law issues, and a remarkable vision of the practical implications of legal decisions” and “a subtle, skilled and experienced lawyer with a profound vision of things, issues and situations. Her legal approach on HR issues also takes into consideration the psychological aspects/impacts on the employees, and this always makes the difference”. Since 2023 she has also been ranked in Chambers and Partners following solid praise from market sources, having "the capacity to analyse the context, supporting us in the definition of the best solution in a complex scenario", and being a “highly skilled and experienced labour lawyer who is subtle and has a wide and deep vision of how a decision or strategy may have an impact on the employees."
