Tahera Mandviwala
Biography
Tahera Mandviwala is qualified as a Solicitor of India, Solicitor of England & Wales and Attorney of the State of California (USA). She is a Senior Partner of TDT Legal (a full service law firm in India). Tahera has been leading TDT Legal’s development and strategy initiatives since 2014. She also heads the firm’s International and Private Client practices, and she is part of the Corporate, Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity and Real Estate practices of the firm. Tahera advises a highly reputed clientele including multinational corporations, funds, foreign governments and prominent high net-worth individuals worldwide. Tahera has been recognised in several reputed international rankings – she has been recognised as a Global Thought Leader by Who’s Who Legal, and she has been ranked by Chambers & Partners High Net-worth Guide, IFLR, Chambers & Partners Corporate and M&A, and many others. Asia Legal Business has recognised Tahera as a super lawyer of India. The Association of International Wealth Management has recognised Tahera as a Leading Woman in India, and Rotary International has awarded her the highly prestigious Vocational Excellence Award for outstanding services in the field of law. Tahera has authored and contributed to some of the bestselling national and global legal publications, and she has spoken at and chaired various international events and programs. Tahera also sits on the management committees and boards of various globally prominent legal and business organizations. Tahera inter alia holds the following positions in the International Bar Association: Secretary and Treasurer of the Law Firm Management Committee and Co-Chair of the India Working Group.
